Today, January 25th, we went on a mini-beast hunt. We found worms, a spider, wood lice, snails and a centipede. We collected them and brought them into the classroom. We put them under the visualiser and everyone in the whole class could see them on the interactive whiteboard. The spider was running VERY fast around the container, and the snail was trying to escape. Teacher took the snail out and put it on a white piece of paper. As he moved, we could follow his trail – it was shiny and looked sticky. We then released all the insects back out to their homes. We had a great day.
