6th Class Tour

The 6th Class school tour took place on Tuesday, June 14th. Fifty-three pupils travelled to Carlingford Adventure Centre. It was an early start, with the bus leaving the school at 8am sharp! Although it rained heavily on the way to Carlingford, it had eased off by the time the bus reached its destination. Pupils had chosen the outdoor and adventure activities a number of weeks in advance – Sky Park Challenges, Zip Lines and Water Activities. Pupils spent the morning in the Sky Park, after which a hot a lunch was served in the centre’s canteen. The water activities session began at 2pm and included canoeing, a speed boat and a water trampoline. Before the bus departed for home, a visit to the traditional sweet shop in the village was a must! It was 7.15pm by the time the pupils arrived back in Trim and although they were totally exhausted, they all agreed that it had been a great day!
