Orange Bonanza Halloween Dress Up Day – 22nd Oct.!!!!!

The Join Our Boys Trust was launched on the 9th of March 2014.  To be told that one of your children has a fatal disease, that currently has no treatment or cure is devastating. To be told your three children have a fatal disease that currently has no treatment or cure is beyond comprehension; beyond words.

Twin brothers George and Isaac, and their Mam Paula joined us at our Assembly on Friday last. Paula explained how Archie, George & Isaac have complex needs that will require additional resources to ensure that they can remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.

Attracta Doran invited St Mary’s and St Michael’s to hold a Dress up day to help the Boys in their fundraising.

As a ‘thank you’, Jim McKenna made fantastic stickmen garden characters and a bird feeder for both of our schools. Every time we see the Stickman we will be reminded of how we ”Made a Difference” in the lives of Archie, George & Isaac ?

Next Friday, 22nd October we will have an ‘Orange Bonanza Halloween Dress Up Day” ? as Orange is the colour for Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy

Thank you all in advance for supporting this cause. We at St Mary’s always like to help other children …. Children helping children. ???

Ní neart go cur le chéile!

This is Jim McKenna setting up the beautiful bird feeder which he crafted and donated to our school in recognition of our fundraising effort to help the Archie, George and Isaac.
