We have four visiting teachers in St Mary’s this week. They have come from Belgium to find out about day-to-day life in an Irish primary school. During the course of today they joined forces with Room 30 for our weekly ukulele class with Stephen from Music Generation. Before the lesson ended, one of the visiting teachers played the ukulele for us, while all four of them sang a song in the Dutch language called, ‘Het is een Nacht’, which means ‘It is Night’. It was interesting to hear a song in another language.
