Trim Library recently hosted events and activities to celebrate Children’s Book Festival Week. During the festivities, pupils from 5th and 6th Classes visited Swift Theatre in the town and heard storyteller Niall de Búrca recall the story about Fionn and Salmon of Knowledge. Niall’s unique story-telling ability brought the ancient story to life, so much so that it felt like an onstage drama. We all agreed that our trip to the Children’s Book Festival was a fantastic experience and we’re already looking forward to what will be on offer next year!
