The youngest and eldest child in the school put their handprints on this special Irish poem for Fr Declan beautifully written out by Ms Maguire.
He will have it forever to remind him of the pupils in St Mary’s
Happy Halloween from Room 18
An tseachtain seo caite, chuaigh na cailíní ó sheomra 30 go dtí an leabharlann i mBaile Átha Troim. Bhí Natasha Mac a’ Bháird ann. Scríobh sí ‘Hannah in the Spotlight’ agus ‘Starring Meg.’

This week, the pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Classes took part in workshops on internet safety and anti-cyberbullying. The workshops, led by Paula O’Connor, were engaging and informative. We learned about the benefits of the internet, but we also discussed, among other things, the hidden dangers that can accompany social media and how to protect ourselves online.

To mark the end of Be Healthy Week last week, we decided to try some different types of fruit in Room 16. We tasted peaches, strawberries, watermelon and pomegranate seeds… they were all delicious!
