Dave, from ‘Cohort Safety and Training’, visited our school on Thursday 6th February to do a workshop with the two 6th Classes on Basic Life Saving Skills. There was a particular focus on CPR. The workshop was both informative and engaging, and pupils had opportunities to listen to Dave’s presentation, to ask questions and to share their own experiences with those present in the classroom. The children were particularly enthused and engaged when they got a chance to perform CPR on the mannequins and small infant dolls provided by Dave. Every child received a personal Certificate of Participation and there was one for the school too. Thanks Dave! Here are some photos from the hands-on activities undertaken during the workshop….
